Watching the sunrise
Riding to work this morning in near freezing conditions was of little concern to me. I was racing against the clock to see the sun rise over the horizon for the first time in many, many months.
Even when the timing is right, there's not many days when it's possible to see this due to various reasons but it's so worthwhile waiting for.

It is exactly this sort of thing keeps me motivated on the bike this time of year when the sunlight is scarce and the weather turns cold and wet.
